Cynthia Bennett Palermo was born and raised in the Dayton, Ohio, area. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1981 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a major in health care administration. She has been a successful licensed administrator in Florida since 1985, responsible for skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities throughout her career.

Cindy has received many honors and awards including, “Hero of the Hurricane” by the Orange Bowl Committee and The Miami Herald; “The Guardian Angel” award by the Catholic Home for Children; “Administrator of the Year” by the Florida Health Care Association.

Cindy served on the FHCA Board of Directors for six years and other non-profit boards over the years.  She is past Queen of Nahum Temple #75 Miami, Daughters of the Nile, fundraising for the Shriner’s hospitals for children.

Cindy has two children and five grandchildren and lives in Royal Palm Beach with her partner, Jay Rosner.
