Darlyne McGee, a licensed Cosmetologist for 50+ years, is president and CEO of Silhouette Hair Design. She has owned salons for 43 years, including six Silhouettes and one Haircutters USA. While educating herself internationally, she also found the time and passion to be a Competition Judge and Educator for the Florida Hair Fashion Committee for 16 years. Darlyne was awarded "Florida Cosmetologist of the Year," is past owner of Darlyne McGee's Academy of Cosmetology, and a published author in the American Salon Magazine. In her leisure time she supports a variety of local charities through the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce and Women's Prosperity Network. In 2013 she received the Chamber's "Women of Excellence" Award. Darlyne has played a big part in the education and inspiration of many talented hair designers and leaves a legacy of those who carry on her entrepreneurial spirit as successful salon owners themselves.
